Payments

Q: What payment method do you accept?
A: We use paypal to process all transactions, its safe, secure, and available to anyone with a debit or credit card.

Deliveries

Q: How long does it take to deliver?
A: As soon as we have confirmed your payment we aim to have your goods dispatched the same day. As a general rule of thumb, from ordering to receiving your goods can take between 3-10 working days.
* We are not responsible for service transit time. This information is provided by the carrier and excludes weekends and holidays. Note that transit times may vary, particularly during peak periods.

Q: Do you deliver to international addresses?
A: We are based in the United Kingdom, if you are ordering from another country, we will send your T-shirt by international airmail, the cost is £7.00 for every 2 items ordered (minimum charge is £7.00 so if you order in multiples of 2 you get each second item delivered for free). International orders should expect additional delivery time, Royal Mail says "Usually within three days to Western Europe, four days to Eastern Europe and five days for the rest of the world, following the day of posting."

Q: Which operator do you use for UK deliveries?
For smaller orders:
We use Royal Mail 1st class recorded delivery, cost is £3.00 for every 2 items ordered (minimum charge is £3.00 so if you order in multiples of 2 you get each second item delivered for free)
For larger orders:
We operate via a reputable next day courier. Costs are £12 per box (these boxes can hold between 72-100 items each depending on garment volume).
Collection:
You can also arrange a collection from our HQ, check out the contact page for information on finding us. NB: From past experiences, we will assume your sat-nav probably won’t find us on Blackett Street as it seems to have disappeared! Raven Street will bring you to our gated car park.

Returns

Q: Can I return my T-shirt if I'm unhappy?
A: We strive to sell only the very best of products on t-shirtprinter.com, however, if you are at all dissatisfied with the product you have received, you can return the product to the address provided within 14 days. Your item can either be exchanged for an alternative size or design, or we can refund your money. Refunds will only be offered if the garment or print is faulty. We reserve the right to refuse returns if there is clear evidence the item has been washed incorrectly, subjected to excessive wear and tear or damaged deliberately. Unfortunately personalised designs cannot be exchanged unless the item is faulty, or has spelling differences from the design as approved by you. Items exchanged will incur a small cost to cover postage.

Washing

Q: What kind of washing guidelines do the T-shirts have?
A: For best results follow the washing guidelines given on the garment, and avoid ironing the design directly.

Custom print service

Q: What Print methods do you use?
A: For smaller quantities we use a combination of manual carousel and American Auto printer. For larger quantities we use an MHM carousel printing set-up. We also have a heat transfer system available for the application of names, numbers and certain designs.

Q: What print positions can you achieve?
A: Designs can be positioned almost anywhere on the t-shirt. Front, back, sleeves, top corner, bottom corner and either breast pockets. ...Providing the print doesn't come within 2cm of a seam!

Q: Which colours can you print with?
A: We can mix colours specifically to your requirements and work within a pantone ‘coated’ environment. We have a range of speciality inks at our disposal too (ie: glitter, metallic, flock, etc).

Q: What are your set up costs?
A: Screen production is charged at £20 per colour. Existing designs re-printed do not incur these charges again. Typically, orders placed within 6 months of the original print run still have the original screens available. Afterwards, however a reset charge of £5 per colour will be applied.

Q: What is your maximum print size?
A: This depends on your design. Text and solid colours can be printed at any size up to 530mm x 430mm. Generally, at quoting stage, we will ask if your design fits within an ‘imaginary A4 or A3’ sheet of paper.

Q: Can you produce samples?
A: We CAN supply samples. Payment for any set up costs, print and garments will be required prior to supply (see below).

Q: Can I supply my own garments?
A: Certainly! We will produce a test print beforehand to establish if there are any problems with the suitability of your own items and advise you accordingly.

Q: Can you test print onto my fabric?
A: Yes. We can do this free of charge by using an existing design we currently have set up.

Q: What are your minimum orders?
A: Theoretically there are no minimum orders. The size of the order DOES determine the method of printing. Naturally, the individual cost of the each print reduces as quantity increases.

Q: Can I see the garments available to print on the web-site?
A: You can view the garments by clicking the catalogue links on our design pages OR by sending us an email with a brief description of your requirements. Prices are supplied on request. Please state the garment code if applicable.

Q: What artwork files do you need from me?
A: This should be supplied at the highest quality available to you. The higher the resolution, the better the result! Our artwork department can still produce great designs from very little, but the more you provide us with, the better... Our preferred formats are Photoshop, Illustrator, or pdf files. Where possible these should be pre-sized accordingly. Our in-house design studio offer a design service at additional cost.

Q: How quickly can I get my T-shirts?
A: Our turnaround depends on the size of your order. Usually we can get your job completed within a week, however, please allow 7-10 days if delivery is required. if you have a specific deadline and require a faster turnaround please contact us with all the details!

Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: To process your order efficiently, full payment is required on confirmation of your order. Funds should be cleared before delivery or collection. We accept cash, cheque, bank transfer and paypal credit-card transactions. NB: Please make cheques payable to Worlds Apart.

Ordering guide

T-shirts & their designs can be bought as-is from the T-shirt of the Week, where garment style, colour, and design are set, or you can buy a customized T-shirt design from our T-shirt store page.

Once you have clicked a 'buy-now' button the item should appear in your basket, or take you to the T-shirt customiser page where you can specify your garment requirements.

You can view your basket any time by clicking on the checkout link on the main menu.
From here you can edit or delete your items before proceeding with the 'checkout' process.
It is important that you check that the products you are ordering are 100% accurate as correcting errors later will slow the order process considerably.

Fill in your details as the checkout form requires, it is recommended that you register with us to avoid filling in your delivery address each time you order, you can simply confirm your user/password instead.

The final step of the checkout page will re-direct you to the Paypal site. Paypal is a safe & secure payment method for merchants, you do not need to be registered to pay with Paypal, simply using your debit or credit card is easy!

Paypal should re-direct you to our order confirmation page after your payment has been processed, you should save this file (you can print it too if you like) for your records.

Once you are a registered user, you can track the delivery status of your order.

You will also be notified by email that: a. Your payment has been completed, and b. Your order has been dispatched, even if you are not registered.
